These two are officially parents of a beautiful baby girl! Esther “EsJay” was born just nine days after we captured these special moments. This beautiful mamma-to-be was just glowing!! ?? I had so much fun with these *three* during their maternity session at the UW Arboretum in Madison back in February. Amy and Mitch knew their baby girl was coming soon (although, they didn’t know it was a girl at the time), and they wanted to get a few more maternity pictures to remember this special time in their lives.
Mother Nature had given us beautiful snow that week….She also gave us FREEZING cold weather! We played it by ear the whole week just in case the baby came, and so we weren’t outside in subzero temperatures. Luckily, on a Saturday morning, it warmed up to about 25 degrees (yes, I just used warm and 25 degrees in the same sentence). Funny enough, Amy was perfectly comfortable in her dress without a coat for the whole session…Poor Mitch was turning a bit red by the end of the session ? I wanted to find a spot that really showcased the beautiful snow, so I spent some time during the week driving around Madison. After one failed scouting session at a park, I drove through the Arboretum and immediately messaged Amy that I found the spot. The trees, the snow-covered road, the happy parents-to-be…the BEST combination!!
And these are just a few of my favorites ? I am so happy for you Amy and Mitch!!
