Oshkosh Engagement Photography —
A few raindrops, a little wind, a portable DJ (Aaron), a rainbow, and an infinite amount of laughs. That only begins to sum up Jordan and Aaron’s downtown Oshkosh engagement session! I could tell just through emails and texts that these two were so enthusiastic for their engagement photos, and I think I even underestimated their excitement! Aaron showed up with a portable speaker and playlist ready to go. He had a stand connected to his phone to take some of his own behind-the-scenes shots (he even beat me to the sneak peek!). And Jordan was FULL of smiles and laughter. I could throw fake laughing out the window…She cracked up at almost anything Aaron did or said!
Although the evening started with a few rain clouds (some of my favorite shots ended up being the ones with the clear umbrella!), they quickly cleared and we had a gorgeous golden hour. We started the engagement session in downtown Oshkosh – one of my favorite areas to shoot in the city! There are so many hidden gems (Jordan and I discovered our mutual love for light-colored, industrial walls!), not to mention the beautiful churches and architecture. We ended the engagement session at Menominee Park (not before getting stopped by a train of course). There we found some beautiful lake views and wildflowers!
These two have such a great energy and chemistry between them. I can only imagine how much fun their wedding will be next spring, and how much joy will shine through their wedding photos! Jordan and Aaron, thank you for trusting me to capture these memories. I cannot wait for your big day!! 🙂
