Wisconsin Wedding Photography at the Woodfire Lodge —
It felt so good to celebrate something on Saturday! Despite a tough, uncertain year, Ashley and Tyler were still able to enjoy their wedding day with their family and friends at the Woodfire Lodge in the tiny town of Brillion, Wisconsin. The day was beautiful (and humid!), and it was refreshing to watch these two have a joyful, fun day with each other and the ones they love most.
The Woodfire Lodge is a rustic venue surrounded by a beautiful property of greenery and trees. The pops from clay shooters in the distance really completed the outdoor, country feel. The day started with some thunder and rain, but the clouds parted just in time for their outdoor ceremony. I actually bought two clear umbrellas just a few days before the wedding, and they came in handy during Ashley and Tyler’s first look!
The raw emotion these two felt about marrying each other was written all over their faces. They wrote each other vows that they opened during their first look, but Ashley couldn’t read hers out loud with out crying. Tyler’s face during the first look and watching Ashley walk down the aisle says it all. They told me they were most looking forward to just enjoying the day and being married, and you could tell it was as simple as that. I love capturing this kind of emotion between two people, and I am so grateful to be able to spend these days with such sweet, loving and adorable couples!
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention – You MUST see their flower girl and ring bearer…They’re twins, and they are ADORABLE! 🙂
