Christine and Brian had a GORGEOUS Wisconsin winter wedding in Kohler and Sheboygan. I loved their wintery color palette – their unique black bridesmaid dresses with gorgeous green florals, all against the bright white, snowy background. The day started at the elegant American Club in Kohler. The darker interior of the historic hotel tied all of those colors together perfectly. The corridors had gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, giving us the perfect spot for the bridesmaids’ before shots.

The guys hung out in a tudor-style foyer. It’s slightly different than the bright-colored backgrounds I typically try to find, but I the room fit Brian perfectly (Can you say GQ model!?) He may have a serious exterior, but you could just sense his emotion throughout the day. The hustle and bustle of the morning came to a complete halt when Christine saw Brian standing in one of the courtyards of the American Club, waiting for their first look. A sharp inhale and tears immediately coming to her eyes – it’s these moments I love so much on wedding days!

The wedding party traveled around on an adorable green trolley. Despite the chilly air, they were great sports for photos. We took advantage of some gorgeous winter golden hour light, and managed to get inside right before Brian lost his fingers! The trolley trollied over to the ceremony just as the sun was going down. Christine honored her late father in such a sweet way at the ceremony, giving him a front-row seat. And just steps away, the man who has filled some of those shoes, her stepfather, officiated the ceremony.

So much was perfect and beautiful about this day, but nothing beats what these two have. In her emotional reception toast, Christine’s mom said she knew Brian was the one the moment she met him. The love between these two and their families is contagious, and I loved capturing it!

The wedding ceremony took place at the Black River Advancement Association, and the reception (doubled as our gorgeous background for wedding party photos and bridal portraits) took place at the Riverdale Country Club in Sheboygan.

PS These two LOVE their fur babies. Scroll down to see the adorable way they honored their dogs with their cake and reception favors!
